1. The curriculum at PCU College of Holistic Medicine is designed to help students become highly-skilled practitioners of holistic medicine and meet the standards set by the CTCMA (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists) in BC and NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncturists and Oriental medicine) in the US.

4. The intensive condensed programs at PCU College allow students to complete a four year TCM Practitioner program in three years. The Doctor of TCM program is completed in four years instead of five.

Accreditation
PCU College of Holistic Medicine is registered under and accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia (PCTIA).
Designated in British Columbia as an "eligible institution" under the Canada Student Loans Act, PCU College of Holistic Medicine is a member of BCSAP (British Columbia Student Assistance Program).
Their Traditional Chinese Medicine Program standards follow the regulations set by the educational by-laws of CTCMA of BC. In doing so, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) and the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Program (Dr.TCM) prepares students to meet all of the qualifying examinations and regulations concerning Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Student Memberships
In keeping with their commitment to professionalism, CCNH provides students the opportunity to begin professional networking through student memberships in the American Herbalists Guild, the International Iridology Practitioners Association, and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. Students enrolled in the herbology and iridology certificate programs as well as the M.S. in Holistic Nutrition programs are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities.
Professional Certification Opportunities
Clayton College programs provide graduates with the eligibility to seek certification or other professional credentials from a number of national organizations.
The American Naturopathic Certification Board offers two recognized designations after the successful completion of board examinations:
The National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) has approved graduates of the CCNH master of science in holistic nutrition program for eligibility to apply for a national board credential and to become registered with the organization. Once credentialed, the professional is allowed to use the designation, “Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition.”
The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants has approved the CCNH master of science in holistic nutrition. Graduates qualify to become members of the IONC. Active members are allowed to use the RNCP (Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner) designation.
Because the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA) has approved the Clayton College iridology program, graduates of the CCNH program (who are current members of IIPA) are immediately eligible to take the IIPA certification examination. Upon successfully passing the exam, they can use the designation CCI and “Certified Comprehensive Iridologist.”

At American Institute of Holistic Theology, their students come from around the world. They are typically adult students, with or without prior college experience, who are motivated by taking an active role in their own learning environment.
AIHT currently has more than 4600 students and alumni, whose goals include pursuing a lifestyle in harmony with their spirituality, human health and nature. Their unique curricula emphasize spiritual health and wholeness. Many of their graduates use their training to help others in their quest for inner peace and harmony — both in their own life, and in their relationships with others.
For many adult students who either work full-time for an employer, manage their household and care for children, or who are self-employed, the distance learning format is nothing short of a godsend. Over those years of growth, AIHT has inspired thousands of students to find and live their own spiritual lives with a knowledge base that allows them to evolve and to serve others by providing respectful, spiritual care to all persuasions and faiths. The school has developed more and more programming with the intent of giving their students a firm but broad base, that will not only add more meaning to their own lives but will allow them to offer holistic spiritual service to others. Their interfaith programs have grown to include Holistic Theology, Holistic Ministries, Holistic Health, Metaphysics, and Parapsychic Science. Each of these programs is interfaith at its core, but specifically directed toward the particular area of spiritual service of each student’s choice.

History
Founded in 1977 by Stephan Rechtschaffen, M.D., and Elizabeth Lesser, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies was inspired by scholar and Eastern meditation teacher, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. Together, they envisioned a dynamic "university of life" designed to foster personal growth and social change. The name "Omega" came from the teachings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a renowned 20th-century philosopher, who used the term "Omega Point" to describe the peak of unity and integration toward which all life is evolving.
In 1981, Omega expanded from rented facilities in New York and Vermont to their current Rhinebeck home on the former grounds of Camp Boiberik, a popular Yiddish camp. Over the years, they have lovingly restored the campus while maintaining its simplicity as it has grown to nearly 200 acres and more than 100 buildings, including the Sanctuary, the Ram Dass Library, and the new Omega Center for Sustainable Living.

In 1981, Omega expanded from rented facilities in New York and Vermont to their current Rhinebeck home on the former grounds of Camp Boiberik, a popular Yiddish camp. Over the years, they have lovingly restored the campus while maintaining its simplicity as it has grown to nearly 200 acres and more than 100 buildings, including the Sanctuary, the Ram Dass Library, and the new Omega Center for Sustainable Living.
Today, Omega is the nation's most trusted source for wellness and personal growth, welcoming more than 23,000 people to our workshops, conferences, and retreats in Rhinebeck and at exceptional locations around the world.
