School of Business Accreditation

Empire College School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, a national accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Empire College operates programs approved by the United States Bureau of Indian Affairs; the United States Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service; and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, California State Department of Consumer Affairs.

Empire College's programs are approved for the training of veterans and eligible persons. In addition, Empire College works with rehabilitation specialists and injured workers to customize programs under California's Workers Compensation training voucher system, as well as laid-off workers entitled to benefits under the Trade Adjustment Act.

School of Law Accreditation

Founded in 1973, the School of Law has been accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California since 1982.

Approximately 80 percent of Empire School of Law graduates who have taken the California Bar Exam have passed. Over the last five years, Empire School of Law has consistently achieved one of the highest pass rates for California accredited law schools, including being ranked second in the state on the February 2004 exam.
